 It is, and has been, my pleasure and honor to be the Command Sergeant Major for the 4th Battalion 9TH Infantry Regt. However on 11 November 2009 at 7:45pm on a small compound in Iraq, I was overwelmed with the pride that I think can only be felt by a Soldier who sees the future. Standing before me were 500 Soldiers waiting to recieve a patch that symbolizes the sacrifice of countless others before them. These Soldiers, these MANCHU Warriors are the finest of America.

However, we stand on the backs of all those that have gone before, Soldiers like my father who served in Korea with the 5th Regtimental Combat Team. Soldiers, Veterans, young Americans, the 1percenters that are willing to do what ever it takes to accomplish their mission. These people are my Heros. To my brothers the Vietnam Manchus, thank you for all you did and all you have done and for all you do every day.
